The PADI 5-Star Career Development Center (CDC) rating is the highest award, given to PADI 5 * Instructor Development Centres around the world, and represents reaching the pinnacle of PADI’s educational professionalism in the diving industry.
This award is given to PADI Dive Centres that dedicate their business to professional development for PADI Divemaster’s, PADI Instructors and PADI Staff Instructors beyond regular training.
The dive shops meet the highest requirements for training PADI Professionals and offer career-oriented programs to prepare scuba diving professionals for employment in the dive industry, as well as offer job placement assistance for program graduates.
PADI Five Star CDCs are committed to excellence and providing divers with the opportunity to live the dive lifestyle and become a PADI Pro.
In line with the CDC requirements, we offer internships for PADI Divemasters and PADI Instructors. The program lengths vary depending on your starting certification and include everything you need to become a Scuba Professional.
A PADI 5 * CDC must have a minimum of 2 actively teaching PADI Course Directors and we have our very own Kim (Alice), as one of the PADI Course Directors, and are very proud to announce that Nic Liddell, who trained and worked in Dubai as a PADI CD, and now resides in Scotland, will be joining our team.
We are delighted to have Nic join the team, and making it an all-female PADI Course Director line up, and look forward to bringing in some new experiences and continued growth for 2021.
The CDC award is currently bestowed on just 100 Dive Centres across the world, so that makes us part of a very unique club.
