Dive Against Debris Tenerife

Some of the Team were out on a Dive Against Debris last week and we are happy to say they came back with very little #rubbish

1 #PADI #Instructor and 6 PADI #Divemasters managed to collect a total of 350g of rubbish from our House reef !

We are happy that carrying out a #DAD every 2-3 weeks is having such a huge positive effect on our #Reef

Well done Team and keep up the excellent work.

New PADI Instructors flying the nest

This week brings a slightly quieter time to our #PADI Dive centre as the new Instructors have completed all of their MSDT Prep training.

Among the PADI #Specialties taught by our in-house Course Director last week were; #Wreck #Deep #SMB #EmergencyOxygen #ProjectAware #FishIdentification #CompressorMaintenance #Nitrox #Navigation #SharkAware #DiveAgaintDebris and #Night

Some of the Instructors now depart for new destinations, and new opportunities, in #Malta and #France others are looking at options and 2 have stayed on to gain the all important valuable experience training real divers here in #Tenerife

We wish them all the very best in their new careers as Dive Instructors

Time to blow out all of the cobwebs with some DVP’s and a DAD Specialty

Time to blow out all of the cobwebs and what better way than with some DPV’s and everyone’s favorite PADI Course Director, Kim.

To make the day special let’s add in 2 amazing #PADI #Instructors from Teide Divers, Nicole and Thom, who we became friends with when they completed their #IDC with us last year.

And to finish off, why not make it a Dive Against Debris so we can take #DMT Marta to finish her PADI #DAD #Specialty and become a PADI #MSD

After a very long, fun, exciting dive we were pleased to say that our House Reef at #Abades is still looking pretty pristine with only minimal debris.

Everyone had an amazing time with Marta saying it was her Best Dive Ever!!!

How could we argue with our favorite #Italian

All went well, even when Nicole thought she would try and make the Navigation harder … but even that Sandstorm couldn’t ruin the 40m+ visibility

Congratulations to Natalie on her successful completion of the #PADI #Divemaster and PADI Master Scuba Diver #MSD certifications here in #Tenerife

During her time with us she also completed 5 PADI #Specialties including Project Aware, #Shark #Conservation and Dive Against Debris all of which are very important to raise awareness among #divers

We wish her well on her journey and hope to see her back here again one day as she will be missed by not only her fellow #DMT but also the staff.
